Testimonials
I LOVE working with Tamara. She is a compassionate, intelligent, and warm therapist with an
incredibly non-judgemental approach. Throughout our work together, I learned how to identify
emotional and behavioral patterns and how to address them. The somatic aspect of Tamara’s
therapeutic approach enabled me to connect with my body, identify how trauma and anxiety
show up for me in a bodily (and cognitive) sense, and how to self soothe. Tamara is a master at
knowing when to jump in with psychoeducation, when to simply hold a compassionate and
curious space, and when to guide you through exercises in self compassion, as well as
self-soothing techniques. In this way, I found Tamara’s approach to therapy to be deeply
empowering. I realized that throughout our work, she was teaching me how to stand on my own
two feet and be my own source of comfort. All the while, I knew I had Tamara’s unwavering,
non-judgemental support. If you’re looking for a therapist with a holistic approach, who will teach
you practical tools to address anxiety, depression, and trauma, as well as hold space for life’s
big questions, look no further than Tamara Reimer.

I have known Tamara for a number of years, both on a personal level, as well as a professional level. I have a deep appreciation for her clinical expertise, as well as her compassionate and caring way. Additionally, I know Tamara to be a person who continues her work through self engagement and personal practice, always striving to become a more attuned and skilled clinician and person in the world. It is for these reasons that I have not one hesitation and am filled with enthusiasm to recommend Tamara for individual psychotherapy and couples counseling.

I first met Tamara when she was the teaching assistant for one of my graduate classes. Her insight to theory and practice was refreshing. A couple years later we decided to collaborate on a workshop we offered titled "Caring for the Caregiver." It was such a gift to exchange ideas and work together as colleagues. Her presence and grounded nature helped to fuel the direction of the offering. From here we ventured into offering a weekly embodied movement and dance class together where the invitation was to fully embody our presence. The ways in which she held the class was beautiful. She offered such sweet and curious invitations as movers moved through various layers of their experience. My collaboration with Tamara has been one of the best experiences as a professional I have ever had. I'm looking forward to learning more from her as she is wise beyond her years.
